Use of Meditech Fetal Doppler Saves Unborn Baby

Fetal dopplers are becoming very popular among pregnant women. In fact using a fetal doppler during pregnancy can save your baby's life.

 

Early in her pregnancy, one of my friends Mary purchased a Meditech fetal Doppler in order to monitor her baby's heartbeat at home. “I had a previous miscarriage and was looking for a little bit of reassurance. During theemergency c-section doctors discovered the reason for the baby’s low heart rate. “His umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around his neck. The doctors believe that he wouldn't have survived the night had I not used the doppler and gotten myself to the hospital” A healthy baby boy was born on Nov 11, 2008 at 8:02 PM. Mary states “Because of my doppler, my little boy is here and healthy”

 

Fetal dopplers are typically used by doctors to detect a fetal heartbeat after 10-12 weeks. In the past, fetal dopplers were too expensive for the average pregnant women to afford.
